MANILA – All eyes were on Catriona Gray on Sunday as she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018.

She wore a beaded masterpiece by local designer Mak Tumang, and an equally attention-grabbing ear cuff that resembled the three stars and sun seen in the Philippine flag.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News shortly after the pageant, Gray said she wanted to add a “patriotic” touch to her look during the evening gown competition, and the ear cuff did the trick.

“I just wanted something patriotic in my gown. I was inspired by the Philippine sun and stars, so I went with an ear cuff,” she said.

Those who want to get their hands on the ear cuff, aptly named “Three Stars and the Sun,” may opt to have one custom-made at Tessera Jewelry.

In an Instagram post on Monday, it revealed that the accessory was made specifically for Gray.
