MANILA - Aside from malls, many restaurants also announced temporary closures as the community quarantine begins in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

1771 GROUP OF RESTAURANTS
This group houses the homegrown dining concepts Chateau 1771, Sentro 1771, Flatiron 1771, Juicery, and 1771 Events and Catering.
It has decided to close all of its restaurants and offices, citing the "welfare and safety of our beloved employees, customers, and suppliers."
FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS
All the restaurants under this group -- Pound, Flatterie, Mesa, Kam's Roast, Hawker Chan, Tim Ho Wan, Bench Cafe, Sunnies Cafe, and Food District -- have been closed to secure the safety of its staff and customers.
KING CHEF
All of the Metro Manila branches of this Chinese restaurant chain have been closed temporarily until further notice.
MENYA KOKORO
The Uptown Mall Taguig branch of this Japanese restaurant will be closed until further notice "as we prioritize the health and safety of everyone."
SHI LIN
This Taiwanese restaurant has temporarily closed all of its branches until "it becomes safe for everyone involved."
THE MOMENT GROUP
The Greenhills and Rockwell branches of this group are temporarily closed. However, its Manam, 8cuts, Ooma, and Din Tai Fung restaurants in Rockwell will continue to deliver orders via GrabFood and Foodpanda.
Other The Moment Group shops will remain open within shortened mall hours, as well as for delivery.
