MANILA—Heading the country's top court is no easy task.

And with an ongoing impeachment complaint, Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno definitely has her hands full.

So how does the country's top magistrate destress from all of her problems and responsibilities?

"I lie down on a soft bed and sometimes I play games," she said in an interview on ABS-CBN's "The Bottomline" broadcast on Saturday.

And her biggest indulgence? "Chocolates."

The chief justice is currently facing an impeachment complaint filed by lawyer Lorenzo Gadon on allegations that she misdeclared her wealth and has an extravagant lifestyle.

She has denied any wrongdoing.

Sereno said she finds her home relaxing and that the "best" part is having conversations with her husband, Mario.

"It's really relaxing at home. The best part is when I get home and my husband and I start chatting about the events of the day," she said.

Asked whether she watches the impeachment proceedings at the House of Representatives, Sereno responded in the negative. She said her husband just gives her a summary at night.
