MANILA – Doug Kramer and Chesca Garcia have been together for a total of 16 years, 10 of which as husband and wife.

Together with their three children, they have been chronicling their daily lives on social media under the name Team Kramer, prompting fans to dub them as “relationship goals.”

On Instagram, Kramer was generous enough to share some of their secrets to a happy and long-lasting relationship.

He stressed the need for couples to “work through your troubles and misunderstandings,” saying they should “never let a day pass when you argue and fight.”

“Sixteen years together and we have never let an argument last more than a day,” he said.

“Take down your pride. Say sorry first. Admit your own faults rather than pointing fingers. Work on what you need to do rather than trying to change your partner’s attitude,” he continued. “Remember, love is more than an emotion. It’s always a choice.”

Kramer went on to remind husbands to make an effort to go on dates with their wives, even if they already have children.

Last October, Garcia surprised Kramer with a grand “renewal of vows” party for their 10th wedding anniversary.
