MANILA – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray happily announced that her birthday charity has so far raised over P350,000 to provide surgeries for children with cleft conditions.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Gray revealed that she has raised P358,500 for the cleft charity Smile Train since her birthday, January 6.

She added that those who want to support her advocacy still have eight days to donate.

“That’s 26 life-changing surgeries for children born with cleft,” the beauty queen told her 8.4 million Instagram followers as she directed them to a GoGetFunding page.

Gray has been working with Smile Train since she was crowned Miss Universe in 2018. The non-profit has been a charity partner of the Miss Universe Organization since 2016.

Aside from Smile Train, Gray is also known for her charitable initiatives with Young Focus, which aims to make education accessible to the poorest children in the Philippines.
