MANILA – This cute little girl recently represented the Philippines in an international beauty contest.

Mariel de Leon shared a photo of her in her younger years on Monday, which showed her wearing a pink dress and sporting bangs.

It seems that the beauty queen has a preference for pink, with De Leon wearing a sexy one-piece in this photo she shared last week.

De Leon competed in last year’s Miss International pageant, hoping to get a back-to-back victory for the Philippines.

Her predecessor, Kylie Verzosa, won the crown in 2016.

While she did not make it to the semi-finals, the beauty queen has no regrets, saying she gave her all during the competition.

De Leon is the daughter of screen veterans Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong.

She and Verzosa made their movie debut in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Ang Panday” starring Coco Martin.
