MANILA - After Miss US Virgin Islands, Miss Guyana is the second candidate to arrive in the country for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.

Twenty-six-year old Soyini Fraser arrived early Monday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to Fraser, she can't wait to try Filipino food.

A former Miss Earth contestant, Fraser is a host and public relations officer for a TV network in Guyana.

She hopes to bring home her country's first Miss Universe crown.

According to her profile in the official Miss Universe page, Fraser is is recognized as a Special Ambassador by the Guyana Tourism Authority and plans to share the warmth of her Guyanese people with her sisters at Miss Universe."

The Miss Universe coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 30.
