MANILA – Chito Miranda loves this homegrown fast food chain so much, he became a part-owner and opened a branch of it in Tagaytay.

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman took to Instagram to announce the successful opening of Honey’s Kimchi at Ayala Malls Serin, thanking all those who have been supportive of his newest venture.

He said he has been a fan of Kimchi’s Korean beef stew since he was in high school.

“High school pa lang ako, paboritong-paborito ko na ‘to sa mga food court sa Galleria at SM North,” Miranda recalled. “Kung naaalala niyo pa, kung may nakikita kayong mga ‘Kimchi’ sa mga food court noong ‘90s, eto po eksakto ‘yun!”

In another post, Miranda shared that he has been dabbling in different businesses, contrary to most people’s impressions that he has only been focusing on his band.

“Ang akala ng marami, si Neri lang ang mahilig mag-business,” he said, referring to his wife, actress Neri Naig, has also been known for her food ventures.

“Pero sa totoo, matagal na akong mahilig mag-negosyo tulad ng mga resto, bars, properties na pinapa-rent, etc. Pero mas aggressive lang talaga si Neri sa mga businesses kaya ngayon mas magaling na siya sa akin!”
