Is Manila Bay the new Boracay?

So goes the chitchat on social media, resulting in droves of people checking out what a clean Manila Bay looks like.

To be fair, the famed Manila Bay sunset has always been on top of the "must-see" list when in the capital. It surely does not disappoint.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources was quick to warn visitors however, that the bay's waters are still dangerous for swimming. Water sampling results showed that the bay's average fecal coliform level was at 330 million most probable number (mpn), 3.3 million times above the standard 100 mpn that is ideal for swimming.
