MANILA - Actor Ricardo Cepeda has been released on bail 11 months after being arrested for an estafa case.

This was confirmed by the actor's partner, actress Marina Benipayo.

In her social media accounts, Benipayo uploaded a video showing her and Cepeda dancing to Elvis Presley's "Don't Be Cruel." 

"He's finally going home! Thank you for your prayers."

She captioned her Instagram post: "#11months and finally, he's going home! God is Good! Thank you, everyone for your prayers ❤️🙏🏻❤️

On Facebook, sharing the same video, Benipayo wrote: "Richard is coming home, finally!!!! Thank you, God for your continuing guidance, never mo kami pinabayaan despite the challenge. Thankful for the strength you have given us throughout ❤️❤️ Thank you everyone also for your prayers 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️❤️❤️

In an article published by PEP.ph, it said that Cepeda was released after posting bail for estafa case. It also said that the resolution was signed by Executive Judge Gemma Bucayu-Madrid.

"Having posted cash bond duly approved by this Court, the Warden of the Cagayan Provincial Jail, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, where the accused is ordered to RELEASE the accused on provisional liberty unless held for some other lawful cause," part of the resolution read.
