MANILA -- Did you know that BINI member Aiah Arceta was discovered after she joined a "Darna" audition?

In the second episode of ABS-CBN's mainstream Bisaya talk show "Kuan-On-One" hosted by Melai Cantiveros, Aiah recalled how she auditioned for "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) and also for "Darna."

"I thought maybe it wasn't really for me, that I wasn't meant for 'PBB.' Then I had a dream, I dreamed of the Star Hunt logo. Since then, I had feeling that something would happen," Aiah said as translated in English.

Before she graduated from Grade 12, Aiah had a gut feeling and told herself that she is going to Manila soon.

"I was rejected from 'PBB' but one day Star Hunt held a private audition for 'Darna.' At that time I was still under my former modelling management. They told me there's private casting for 'Darna,'" she said.

Aiah said she was hesitant to audition, saying she just turned 18, but was told by her manager at that time that their main goal is to be seen and be discovered by Star Hunt.

"He said, 'No, we won't aim for Darna anymore. Our aim is for the Star Hunt staff to see you.' I said, 'Ah, okay sige,'" Aiah recalled.

After a couple of months, she received a call from Star Hunt asking her if she is willing to go to Manila to join a girl group.

"They called me because they noticed me from the Darna audition," Aiah said.

According to Aiah, she was the last member to join BINI, the Nation's Girl Group known for their massive hits such as "Karera," "Salamin, Salamin" and "Pantropiko."

"Kuan-On-One" airs on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel and iWantTFC.
