MANILA -- The Philippine entertainment industry mourns the loss of Leonardo “Remy” G. Monteverde, husband of film producer, Regal Films’ matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde.

Leonardo, a beloved figure known for his unwavering support of the local film industry, passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 86 due to pneumonia.

Monteverde, a former basketball player for San Beda high school and Mapua College, was born on December 25, 1937.

The wake for Leonardo Monteverde will be held at the 38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City from July 31, Wednesday, to August 2, Friday. Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with daily masses at 7 p.m.
