MANILA -- The Pinoy Big Brother house wasn’t spared by the strong rains caused by the habagat and typhoon Carina.

ABS-CBN News received video clips of the water that entered the bedroom of the male housemates and the garden area. Only a few areas of the house were affected by the floodwater, and according to the program’s Business Unit Head Alex Asuncion, the housemates are safe and far from any danger. Aside from the housemates, Asuncion also mentioned that the staff are also safe.

“Malakas talaga si Bagyong Carina so may ilang piling areas na pinasok ng tubig nung kasagsagan ng malakas na ulan kasama na ang kwarto ng housemates,” said Asuncion.

He added, “Hindi naman tumaas pa yung tubig. Managed na. Ligtas naman at malayo sa peligro ang housemates and staff na nasa Bahay ni Kuya ngayon.”

The whole PBB team is one with the whole nation in praying for the safety of Filipinos affected by the calamity. “Nakikiisa ang housemates at PBB staff sa pagdadasal para sa mga nasalanta at naapektuhan ng Bagyong Carina,” said Asuncion.
