MANILA  -- Collaborations continue with ABS-CBN and GMA Network with an upcoming project starring Kapamilya actress Desiree Del Valle and Kapuso actress Diana Zubiri.

On the Instagram of Star Magic Philippines, the talent management group of ABS-CBN announced that its homegrown artist Del Valle will be part of an upcoming GMA series "Mga Batang Riles" with some of the sought-after artists of the generation.  

"Star Magic’s #DesireeDelValle hops on GMA’s “Mga Batang Riles” as announced in the series’ story con," the post said. 

During the National Hopia Day event on Friday, ABS-CBN News had the chance to talk to Zubiri where she shared her excitement as she has returned to acting where she got to work with several Kapamilya stars.

"Nakakatuwa kasi malaking tulong 'yun sa mga artista na magkaroon ng opportunity na lumabas sila sa iba't ibang channel and siyempre, to work with other celebrities," Zubiri said. 

"Kasi before, parang wini-wish mo lang na maka-trabaho mo lang sila. But then again, hindi siya possible kasi mayroon nga tayong exclusivity sa network pero ngayon, very exciting kasi sa show namin makakasama namin si Desire Del Valle na homegrown siya ng ABS-CBN," she added. 

Aside from her upcoming series with Del Valle, Zubiri truly believes that the collaboration between ABS-CBN and the GMA network is also a great start for her "Sang'gre" friends Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, and Karylle to push through with their plans to reunite in a project. 

"If ever man na gawin namin 'yun, magkakaroon talaga ng possibilty for them to cross," she said. 

Together with Zubiri and Del Valle's upcoming series, "Mga Batang Riles" also includes Jay Manalo, Ronnie Rickets, and the veteran actress Eva Darren.
