MANILA — SB19 announced Friday that its "Pagtatag!" documentary is set for a nationwide theatrical release on August 28.

The P-pop superstars made the announcement through a teaser which was shown during their set at a thanksgiving concert in Araneta Coliseum.

While it may seem that everything went smoothly since they had just successfully concluded their "Pagtatag! World Tour," SB19 leader Pablo said they still went through various problems and roadblocks which challenged their resolve as artists.

Pablo added that the documentary would feature their journey during the whole "Pagtatag!" era, showcasing the ups and downs that they went through.

The group earlier teased the documentary back in May where the teaser they showed to fans only said "IN CINEMAS AUGUST 2024" and no exact date.

According to their official post on Instagram, the documentary was produced by First Light Studios and 1Z Entertainment, and directed by Jed Regala.
