New format? Star Awards for Movies reveals winners for some categories

MANILA -- Star Awards for Movies, which is organized by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) with its president Rodel Fernando, has revealed their winners for technical and some other categories. 


For 40 years, the Star Awards for Movies has been a platform celebrating the best in Filipino cinema.


“In a special twist for our 40th year, we are changing the format of our winner announcements. Except for the categories of Best Actress, Best Actor, Movie of the Year, Movie Director of the Year, Indie Movie of the Year and Indie Movie Director of the Year, all other winners will be revealed prior to the awards night. This change aims to build excitement and anticipation, making the event even more memorable,” it said.


Here’s the partial list of winners:
