ABS-CBN News sought the reaction of Yan’s family and exchanged messages with the actor’s older brother Bobby Yan. He said the family will not issue any statement for now, but they have spoken to the caretaker of Yan’s tomb and he was told that "it’s nothing to be concerned about, for now." He added that if things get bothersome to the neighboring mausoleums at the cemetery, then they will take action.
