MANILA -- SB19's Felip was over the moon after collaborating with PUBG Mobile in one of his latest solo projects.

The 27-year-old Pagadian native is the face of the game's in-game event which lasted until July 3, where fans and players alike can collect his voice pack, a frame, and an avatar for free through certain missions.

"Kasi sobrang fan ako ng PUBG and I've been playing PUBG for 5 years. Until now hindi ako tumitigil and, of course, na-represent ko 'yung kung saan ako lumaki, 'yung pagiging Visayan artist ko, for example, kasi gumawa kami ng voice pack. May Visayan lines doon. I'm just really happy so sobrang grateful ako sa lahat, especially sa PUBG sa pagbigay ng opportunity na ito samin," he told ABS-CBN News in an interview.

(I've been a fan of PUBG and I've been playing PUBG for five years, and until now I haven't stopped. Of course, I'm also paying homage to my Visayan roots since there are also Visayan lines. I'm just really happy, so grateful especially to PUBG for giving this opportunity.)

Felip has been very vocal about his love for PUBG, and has even gone live to interact with fans in the game, even creating a home called "SisiwCorp" which his fans can visit.

He has also hosted a "virtual meet and greet" with fans on the platform during one Facebook Live session.

"Para ako na ang pinakamasaya ng tao. I've been dreaming that for a long time. I've been telling my friends na 'pag ako napansin ni PUBG. HIndi naman ako pro player. As an artist I'm just happy that they recognized me and my music and dahil sa support ng fans that's why PUBG naging interesado ang PUBG sa 'kin," Felip shared.

(I felt like the happiest person alive. I've been dreaming that for a long time. I've been telling my friends that if ever PUBG notices me. I'm not a pro player, but as an artist I'm just happy that they recognized me and my music, and because of the fans' support PUBG became interested in me.)

The Pinoy hip-hop star was also hands-on towards the creative process on some elements of the collaboration, he said.

"Nagtutulungan kami kasi as an artist may creative direction and creative vision pagdating sa project na 'to that's why we met halfway and pinag-usapan namin nang matindi and napag-usapan namin kung okay ba ganoon lang naman. And nagkikita kami personally to talk about the project and I was just so happy na PUBG was open na be yourself, be genuine," he said.

(We help each other because as artists we have creative directions and creative visions when it comes to this project. That's why we met halfway and we seriously talk about this if certain things are okay. We also meet personally to talk about the project and I was happy that PUBG was open to let me be myself and be genuine.)

Felip earlier this month dropped his debut solo album "7Sins."
