The song, co-produced by renowned American producer Ryan Tedder, showcases the charismatic artist's rapping abilities.

Filmed in Bangkok, the music video for "Rockstar" is described in a press release as Lisa's "ode to her Thai culture and authentic Thai street life as she embodies her true rockstar with showstopping choreography."

"Rockstar" marks Lisa's first release since she established her own management company, LLOUD, for solo activities and entered into a partnership with label RCA Records.

After making her debut with the wildly popular girl group Blackpink in 2016, Lisa embarked on her solo career in 2021 with the release of the single album "LALISA," whose title track won Best K-pop at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
