MANILA -- The Nation's Girl Group, BINI, gave their fans a series of unforgettable performances on Day 1 of their "BINIverse" concert, Friday at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

In their first solo concert, all eight members of BINI got their time to shine in the three-hour set, while also showing their strength as a group.

The highlight of Day 1 of the three-night concert is BINI's first-ever performance of their new single, "Cherry on Top," which will be officially released on July 11.

Ahead of their performance of the song, BINI's Colet and Maloi recalled how they helped create the song during a writer's camp last year. Aiding them in crafting "Cherry on Top" were internationally renowned producers Skylar Mones and Shintaro Yasuda, who have worked with Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa, among other artists.

The song received a raucous reception from the sold-out crowd at the New Frontier Theater, but BINI was not done with the surprises. They also offered a brief teaser of the "Cherry on Top" music video right after their performance.

Before it officially drops at 8:00 p.m. on July 11, the first 60 seconds of "Cherry on Top" can be played by fans in the mobile rhythm game Superstar Philippines.

BINI is the first international artist after EXO to preview a song in the Superstar Series, which is known for fun rhythm games that feature global hits, enabling users to immerse themselves in the world of their favorite chart-topping songs.

The group is set to hold Day 2 and 3 of "BINIverse" on Saturday and Sunday, still at the New Frontier Theater. Afterward, BINI will embark on a regional tour in Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos City in July, to be followed by tour dates in the United States and Canada later this year.
