Young stars Krystal Mejes, Marc Santiago, Jana Agoncillo and Miguel Vergara are all set to mark their acting comeback with the upcoming series "Lavender Fields."

Speaking to ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe, the new gen actors and actresses said they are looking forward to learn from the show's veteran cast.

"I feel so pressured kasi po 'yung mga makakatrabaho po namin ay mga beteranong actors. Marami po ako matutunan. And at the same time I'm willing to grow and learn with them," Mejes explained.

"Noong nakita ko po 'yung mga artists na makakasama namin, talagang powerhouse artists e. Mga veterans na 'to e. I mean sino bang 'di pangarap 'to?" Santiago added.

"Syempre kinakabahan po, pero sa support po ng mga kasama ko po — saka 'yung mga veteran actors, tingin ko po matutulungan po ulit nila kami," Vergara stressed.

In the upcoming series, Mejes and Santiago will bring life to the characters Myrtle Hidalgo and Gio Albano, respectively; while Agoncillo and Vergara will play Mirasol Gallego and John Paul Madrigal.

They will be joining the show's lead stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Janine Gutierrez, as well as Jericho Rosales and Jolina Magdangal who are making their teleserye return as well.

Agoncillo also mentioned how this experience differs from what they have encountered as child actors.

"I haven't worked with all of them. So this will be the first time except for Marc. Kaya excited na rin ako kasi parang kami 'yung magkakaintindihan kasi sumasabak na rin kami as a teen actor. Kasi iba rin 'yung kapag child actor tapos ngayon as teen actor," she said.

The four recalled their humble beginnings on various drama series and films.

Mejes was part of "Doble Kara," "Nang Ngumiti ang Langit," and "Fractured." Santiago, on the other hand, joined the cast of "The General's Daughter," "Sandugo," and also "Goin' Bulilit".

Meanwhile, Vergara took the spotlight in Star Cinema film's "One More Try," while Agoncillo shone in her roles in "Ikaw Lamang," "Dream Dad," "Ningning" and "Starla."

ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment's upcoming grandest series has no airing date yet, but the young Kapamilya stars' return to television also adds more hype to the series.
