MANILA -- After the success of the "Huling El Bimbo" concert last 2022 and the string of shows last year, Eraserheads has officially launched the "Huling El Bimbo" world tour 2024.

During the launch, Eraserheads members Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Raymund Marasigan and Marcus Adoro shared how they enjoyed the previous shows they had including the successful Manila concert.

“It’s the energy that the crowd give you. It’s like it’s the first time you’re playing.” said Marasigan.

For Ely’s part, the lead vocalist said, “It’s also great to see young faces in the audience, that just means that the music still translate to the younger generation which is awesome, you know how they are hard to please now, just kidding.”

Because of the tour, Buddy said the band had remained in touch, shared dinner and drinks, celebrated birthdays. “Since then, we have spent a lot of time together. And it’s shaping our live shows.”

When asked how the world tour would be different from the past "El Bimbo" shows, the band said it’s the setlist that would definitely excite their fans.

“Usually the singles, magagalit yung audience pag wala yun. Pag mahirap yun, paano natin ginawa sa studio, paano natin gagawin ang live.”

Raymund revealed that Ely and Marcus took charge in choosing the setlist for this upcoming tour.

Ely broke it down and said, “The songs are 80% decided by the fans, 15% decided by family and friends, and 5% decided by the band.” He added, if the band were to choose the songs, it would most likely be composed with deep cuts.

“We made a soundcheck experience, we get to play the songs that we love as a band. We do it sa soundcheck, ‘cause the fans who paid the VIP ticket will appreciate whatever we play.”

The "Huling El Bimbo" world tour 2024 will kick off this July.

July 12 - San Francisco, California at The Warfield
July 13 - Los Angeles, California at the Peacock Theater
July 19 - Temecula, California at the Pechanga Resort Casino
July 21 - Toronto, Canada at the Great Canadian Casino Resort
November 23 - Singapore at the Arena @ Expo, promoted by ABS-CBN Global Asia Pacific and December 8 at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Dubai, UAE promoted by ABS-CBN Global Middle East.
