MANILA — A death due to fraternity-related violence set the new ABS-CBN teleserye "Pamilya Sagrado" in motion.
In its pilot episode aired Monday, Justin (Grae Fernandez) was leading the initiation of his fraternity while an initiate, Roland (JC Alcantara), spit out after the process.
When Roland died, Justin and his brothers buried the body in the hopes of covering up their wrongdoing.
The episode also introduced Moises (Kyle Echarri) and his struggles his Estong (Joel Torre) and Grace (Shaina Magdayao), the family who adopted him.

Estong usually hurts him physically due to his dreams to go to college while Grace has no means to help Moises to purse his studies.
Gov. Rafael Sagrado (Piolo Pascual) was also introduced in the episode, giving a taste of his corruption in the city.
"Pamilya Sagrado" airs weeknights, 8:45 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
