(UPDATE) All seven members of BTS reunited Wednesday after Jin finished his mandatory military service, becoming the first of the K-pop supergroups to do so.

On its official X account, the group posted a photo featuring the members, with Jin still wearing his military uniform.

Letter balloons hung behind the K-pop idols read: "Jin is back," as seen in the photo.

"I'm home!" the post's caption, written in Korean, read.

Earlier in the day, Jin — also the band's oldest member — emerged from the gates of an army base in South Korea's northern Yeoncheon county, where he was met by bandmates J-Hope, V, RM, Jungkook, and Jimin. Suga later joined them for the gathering where the photo posted on X was taken.

The other BTS members, who are all serving in the military, reportedly took leaves to gather for Jin's discharge.

The group will celebrate its 11th debut anniversary on Thursday, with Jin scheduled to attend an in-person event for fans in Seoul.

"I prepared a lot for Festa," he wrote on the fan community app WeVerse, referring to the annual celebration of BTS' anniversary.

"There are a lot of [free] hugs tomorrow so please pass by as soon as possible," he said, addressing fans.

BTS, the chart-topping act behind hits such as "Dynamite" and "Butter," is expected to return as a full group of seven by 2025.

All able-bodied South Korean men under the age of 30 are required to serve in the military due to tensions with the nuclear-armed North.
