MANILA (UPDATED) — Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo bagged an acting award at the recently concluded Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards 2024 on Sunday.

With her performance in "A Very Good Girl", Bernardo won over Maricel Soriano ("In His Mother's Eyes"), Charlie Dizon ("Third World Romance"), Marian Rivera ("Rewind"), Sharon Cuneta ("Family Of Two"), and Eugene Domingo ("Becky & Badette").

Bernardo's first FAMAS Award is a German Moreno Youth Achievement Award in 2011 along with  Sarah Lahbati, Alden Richards, Julia Montes, and Sam Concepcion.

Meanwhile, "Mallari" got the most awards with 6 including Best Picture.

Piolo Pascual got the Best Actor trophy for his performance in "Mallari" along with Alfred Vargas for "Pieta".

Best Cinematography: Carlo Mendoza ("Gomburza")

Best Production Design: Marielle Hizon ("Mallari")

Best Musical Score: Teresa Barrozo ("Iti Mapukpukaw")

Best Visual Effects: "Mallari"

Best Sound: "Rewind"

Best Original Song: "Finggah Lickin'" ("Becky And Badette)

Best Short Film: "Huling Sayaw ni Erlinda"

Best Documentary: "Maria"

Special Citation Award: Gloria Romero
