MANILA — OPM girl group BINI has garnered 5 million monthly listeners on the online streaming platform Spotify, Star Music confirmed over the weekend.

In an Instagram post, Star Music congratulated the girls for their new milestone on the platform.

"The Nation's Girl Group @bini_ph reached 5 MILLION+ @Spotify Monthly Listeners! Congratulations, our walo! Padayon lang, BINI and BLOOM besties!" Star Music said.

The rise of streams on Spotify follows the virality of their songs "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin" early this year.

Composed of Mikha, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Jhoanna and Sheena, BINI has steadily risen in popularity in the past months.

They made their debut in 2021 with the single "Born to Win," and are also known for singles such as "Na, Na, Na," "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi," "Lagi," among others.

Last March, BINI released their extended play "Talaarawan" which featured the viral tracks "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin."

They will hold their first solo concert, "BINIverse," on June 28, 29, and 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
