MANILA -- Fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were abuzz on social media after photos of the Kapamilya actress receiving a huge bouquet of flowers and a gift from the Kapuso actor were uploaded online.

Photos and clips taken at a surprise birthday party for Bernardo were shared by celebrity stylist Priscilla Tañedo and creative director Earl Semitara. 

One of the clips, shared by Tañedo, shows Richards arriving at the party where he surprised Bernardo with flowers and a gift.

On Wednesday, fans of the two stars expressed their "kilig" as the #KathDen trended on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter).

Richards was also among the guests at the recent star-studded birthday celebration of Bernardo in El Nido, Palawan.
