The new song "Spot!" is a hip-hop-based track that " follows the casual encounter between two friends at a late-night party," Zico's label, KOZ Entertainment, said  in a press release.

The single marks Zico's return to the music scene following the release of the extended play "Grown Ass Kid" in July 2022. 

"As soon as I finished making the track, I knew it was executed to perfection without a doubt," Zico said of the new song.

"The charm of this single lies in its simple arrangement that evokes listeners’ excitement and desire to have fun," he added.

Born Woo Ji-ho, Zico debuted as a member of the boy group Block B in 2011 before launching a solo career in 2014. He is known for catchy tunes such as "Any Song," "New Thing" and "Okey Dokey."
