MANILA -- Hip-hop sensation Hev Abi is set to make his mark as he headlines his very first concert this Sunday at the New Frontier Theater. 

The rising star shared his excitement, stating, "Masaya po ako... Pinlano po namin ito bago pa ginawa yung album. So nakakatuwa naman magagawa na."

Hev Abi, a rapidly ascending rap and hip-hop artist under Downtown Q Entertainment, is renowned for his exceptional lyricism, wordplay, and sound that resonates with audiences. Boasting more than 6 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 220 million views on YouTube, Hev Abi is on the fast track to becoming a major figure in the Pinoy music scene.

Hev Abi is recognized as the No. 1 male OPM artist on Spotify Philippines, securing the top spot for his album "Kung Alam Mo Lang." His track "Alam Mo Ba Girl" has garnered over 100 million streams, and six of his songs have landed spots in Spotify Philippines’ Top 10 chart.

Despite his meteoric rise to success, Hev Abi humbly expressed, "Hindi ko po intensyon na mapunta dito. Ginagawa ko lang po 'yung gusto ko gawin, nakakatuwa 'yung mga tao na-appreciate ng mga ginagawa ko." 

As he continues his musical journey, Hev Abi aspires to reach greater heights and touch more hearts through his music.

When asked about his dream collaboration, the artist revealed his admiration for veteran singer Jaya. "Ang gusto ko po maka-collab si Ms. Jaya po simula't sapul. Nagagandahan po ako sa boses niya, idol ko po siya," he said.

Hev Abi is scheduled to perform at the New Frontier Theater on April 28 for the concert titled "Morato Most Wanted."
