On Monday, the 40-year-old actor took to Instagram, where he has two million followers, to share photos from his wedding.

"I met an amazing friend I want to spend the rest of my life with. For all the remaining time I have left, I will love and be happy without regrets," Lee wrote in the post's caption as translated by Korean entertainment news portal Soompi.

"To all the fans, friends, and family who always support me, I will repay you as a person who has grown even more and as an actor," he added.

Lee is best known for starring in dramas such as "While You Were Sleeping" and "Eve." Most recently, he had a lead role in the series "My Lovely Boxer," opposite singer-actress Kim So-hye.

Lee has also appeared in a number of variety shows, most notably in "Sixth Sense" with popular TV personality Yu Jae-seok.
