"An introduction to the island life for my (not so) little brother. It did not happen in the circumstance we had hoped for, but I'm glad to finally do this nonetheless. Nanay never made it, but I would like to believe she lovingly watched over us from her paradise. After all, all I can do now is to believe," she wrote in the caption.

Reflecting on life's uncertainties, Eigenmann also urged her followers to cherish their loved ones.

"Look after your people. Hug them. Love them. Cherish them. Hold your loved ones close," she wrote.
