Videos were shown in court on Thursday (February 29) showing actor Alec Baldwin using firearms in scenes on the set of 'Rust', on which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot dead in October 2021.

A number of videos were shown by the prosecution team during the questioning of established Hollywood armorer, Bryan Carpenter.

One video showed Baldwin pushing for his gun to be reloaded and armorer Hannah Gutierrez rushing over to do so.

During testimony, Carpenter said, "He's basically instructing the armorer how to do their job at that point, telling that they should have had the gun on a second reload, you know, hurry up, give it to me, fast, fast, fast. This is that moment. This is that moment I spoke about earlier. This is that moment that you need to stop and say 'No. I'm not going to hurry up. I'm going to slow down and we don't need to be passing off weapons this fast or loading guns this fast'. This is creating an unsafe and nerve-wracking situation, to describe it in more layman's terms."

Another video showed Baldwin shooting blanks too close to cameras, according to prosecutor Kari Morrissey.

In another video, Baldwin is seen talking to the camera crew while holding a gun.

Carpenter testified, "He's doing what we saw previously in one of other videos with a stunt performer. He's using the weapon as a pointing stick, like it's his finger."

The final video showed Baldwin shooting a blank after the word 'cut' was heard on the set.

Carpenter said "When you say 'cut', everything stops and it's not just from a creative standpoint, it's also from a safety standpoint to keep in mind you're dealing with stunts, special effects, explosives, et cetera, et cetera, so when the word 'cut' is said, everything should cease immediately."
