MANILA -- Actress Kim Rodriguez is now part of the hit action drama "FPJ's Batang Quiapo," starring Coco Martin.

In episode 285 of the series aired on Tuesday, Rodriguez's character Jelly was finally introduced as a friend of Bubbles (Ivana Alawi) who will help the latter get a job. 

Jelly, who is working as a waitress in a sports bar, is one of the newest characters who will be part of Bubbles' new life outside prison.

Last Monday,  Nikko Natividad's character Emong was also introduced as the new favorite apo (grandchild) of Betchay (Erlinda Villalobo), Bubbles' grandmother.  Bubbles went to her grandmother after she was released from prison.

On Instagram, show producer Dreamscape Entertainment uploaded a photo of Rodriguez's character. 

Prior to joining "Batang Quiapo," Rodriguez starred in the afternoon drama "Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin," which concluded last January.

In 2022, the former Kapuso talent debuted as a Kapamilya via fantasy series “Mars Ravelo’s Darna.” Last year, she was also part of the shows "Fractured" and "Love Bites" season 2.

"FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" airs every Monday to Friday, 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC and TFC.
