MANILA — ABS-CBN noontime show "It's Showtime" is set to air on GMA from April 6, the networks announced Wednesday. 

Top executives of the two networks sealed the partnership at a contract signing ceremony held at the GMA studios, attended by "It's Showtime" hosts.

GMA Network was represented by Chairman Atty. Felipe Gozon, President and CEO Gilberto Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe Yalong, and Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes. 

ABS-CBN was represented by Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, and Group Chief Financial Officer Rick Tan. 

GMA Network said “It’s Showtime” was a welcome addition to its list of program offerings for Kapuso viewers.

ABS-CBN and “It’s Showtime,” meanwhile, thanked GMA for providing a new platform to bring entertainment and happiness to more viewers.

"We thank our loyal viewers for their unwavering support for almost 15 years and look forward to connecting with new audiences as 'It’s Showtime' embarks on a new journey in creating more unforgettable FUNanghalian moments together on GMA, GTV, GMA Pinoy TV, and all other platforms it is currently seen," ABS-CBN and GMA said in a joint statement.

Before the partnership, "It's Showtime" aired on GMA-owned GTV (Good Television) since July 2023.

Now on its 14th year, “It’s Showtime” is hosted by Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, Ogie Alcasid, Karylle, Amy Perez, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, MC, Lassy, and Cianne Dominguez.

The program’s current segments include singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids”, “Karaokids,” and the dating show “Expecially For You.”
