"Mommy Cecille was also known as one of the best prosthetic artist during her time — leaving a great legacy. She lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, and love," Valdez said in the post.

Baun was known for her expertise in makeup and prosthetics in several iconic films in the '80s until 2000s.

Some of her remarkable works are “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Darna,” and “Oro, Plata, Mata."

Baun was also a sought-after visual effects artist in several Hollywood movies shot in the Philippines like “Platoon,” “Hamburger Hill,” and “Return to the River Kwai."

Her body lies at St. Peter Memorial Chapels on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City from March 13 until March 16.
