Dreamscape's Deo Endrinal has passed away, son says

(UPDATED) Deo Endrinal, the head of ABS-CBN's Dreamscape Entertainment, has passed away, his son said Saturday.

Endrinal was 60 years old. 

His son PJ disclosed the death of his father in a Facebook post.

"This has to be the hardest caption that I will ever post," said PJ. "Thank you daddy for everything, you have been the best father not just to me but to everyone that has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives."

"For now, Rest in Paradise Daddy, I love you so so much."

Endrinal was an executive producer, writer and creative director who produced a string of hit TV series such as FPJ's Batang Quiapo, Dirty Linen, Linlang, Flower of Evil, The Broken Marriage Vow.

Dreamscape Entertainment confirmed Endrinal's passing in a ststement.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Roldeo T. Endrinal, our esteemed Head of Dreamscape Entertainment," it said.

"His visionary leadership, brilliant mind, and dedication to the art of storytelling have left an indelible mark on our organization, as well as on the Philippine Entertainment industry. We mourn the loss of a true and beloved leader, and extend our heartfelt condolences to the family."

Various actors who worked with him, as well as close friends, have offered condolences to the family.

Among those who expressed their sympathy were Aiko Melendez and Luis Manzano.

"My deepest condolences," said Melendez.

"Rest in Paradise, Sir D," said Manzano.

Also among those who extended their condolences were Alex Medina and Ice Seguerra's wife Liza Dino-Seguerra.

"Condolences PJ. Isang karangalan mabigyan ng pagkakataon sa industriya ng tatay mo. Akap sa pamilya," said Medina.

"Mahigpit na yakap PJ. Nakakabigla naman. Sir Deo, Salamat sa tiwala at suporta sakin at sa'min ni Ice. Mamimiss ka ng industriya," said Dino.

Singer Angeline Quinto called Endrinal as her second father.

"Sa pangalawang tatay ko, mahal kita Sir Deo," she said.

Actress Chie Filomeno was also saddened by his demise.

"In a bittersweet moment, another angel found their wings," said Filomeno.
