The additional show was announced late Friday by 2NE1's agency YG Entertainment and promoter Live Nation Philippines in their respective X accounts.

The second show is scheduled for November 17 at the Mall of Asia Arena, just one day after the first performance, according to the posts.

The announcement for a second show came just hours after Live Nation Philippines reported that tickets for the first concert had sold out.

Tickets for the second concert will go on sale through SM Tickets starting at noon on October 13, with prices as follows:

On her X account, 2NE1 member Sandara Park, who began her showbiz career in the Philippines before rising to K-pop fame, expressed her gratitude to Filipino fans after tickets for the first concert had sold out.

"Sobrang mahal namin kayo at super excited [kami] bumalik sa Manila," she wrote.

(We really love you guys and we're super excited to return to Manila.)

The "Welcome Back" tour is being held in celebration of the quartet's 15th anniversary.

Launched by YG Entertainment, 2NE1 was active from 2009 until its disbandment in 2016, and is credited with popularizing K-pop's "girl crush" concept with their fierce image and hip-hop-influenced sound.
