MANILA – Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto won’t be spending Christmas together.

However, this doesn’t meant that they won’t have quality time with each other during the holidays as they are planning to go abroad for New Year.

“[I will be] with my family [this Christmas] kasi last year hindi ako nakapag-celebrate sa bahay dahil sa MMFF. Pero this year, uuwi ako. Hindi [kasama si Julia],” he told ABS-CBN News at the sidelines of the Just Love Christmas Special.

“Pero may lakad kaming iba sa New Year, out of the country kasama ang magulang niya,” he added.

Both have been very vocal about their feelings for one another.

Garcia has admitted to courting the actress, while Barretto said she gave her "Unexpectedly Yours" co-star the "exclusive" rights to date her.

When asked about the real score between them, Garcia said: “Nag-usap kami ni Julia. Kung kami man or hindi pa, sasabihin naman namin yun kapag ready na kami sabihin. Napag-usapan namin na what you see is what you get muna talaga.”

Nonetheless, Garcia is grateful for Barretto, who is his constant source of inspiration.
