MANILA -- Singer Ronnie Liang has released a Christmas song "Sa Paskong Darating," which he is dedicating to his mother, who passed away in 2017, as well as to all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

"The song reminds me of my mother. Tuwing Pasko, simula noong 2018, nalulungkot ako dahil wala na siya. Ganoon pala ‘yun, malungkot ang Pasko kapag may kulang," Liang said.

"While recording the song, super emotional ako. Tagos sa puso ‘yung song. I dedicate the song also sa mga OFW, sa mga taong malalayo sa kanilang mga mahal sa buhay every Christmas," Liang
added.

"Sa Paskong Darating" is now out on Spotify. Its music video premiered on MYX.

For 2020, Liang, who recently fulfilled his dream of becoming a solo pilot, is planning to produce more songs and an album.

"Maraming dapat ipagpasalamat ngayong taon. Natapos ko ‘yung pagpipiloto. Now preparing for private and commercial license. Na-nominate sa Star Awards for Music. Nag-concert with Sarah (Geronimo) and may collab song pa with her. Super blessed," Liang said.
