MANILA - Children are reminded that Christmas is more than just the season of gift giving in the Christmas campaign "Happy Ang Pasko, Basta Sama-Sama Tayo."

The video campaign can be seen on Yey!, the all-day children’s channel of ABS-CBN TVplus.

AJ, who hosts the Team Yey! segment "Galaw Go," said Christmas is a season where his whole family is complete.

Raven, who hosts storytelling sessions every Friday together with other Team Yey! members Sofia and Alyssa, echoed AJ's sentiment.

"Yey's Christmas campaign affirms the belief that Filipino children don't view Christmas purely as a season of gift giving and grand celebrations. Love for family remains as a core value that children cherish and I am glad that this was manifested in their heartfelt answers," Yey! channel head Danie Sedilla-Cruz said.

Cruz added that the Christmas campaign aims to make Filipino children realize that time spent with family makes Christmas more meaningful.

For the holidays, kids can enjoy watching value-laden and action-packed adventures in the second season of the reimagined "Superbook," which airs every weekend at 6 a.m..

Fun movies like "Baby Geniuses 3" (Dec. 24), "Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs 2" (Dec. 31), "Planet 51" (Dec. 18), and "Spy Kids 3" (Dec. 25) will also be shown on Kidzine, Yey's weekend movie block.

Christmas episodes of iconic cartoon shows will also be an added treat for kids this holiday season as "Team Umizoomi" (Dec. 20-23, 8 a.m.), "Dora The Explorer" (Dec. 22-23, 7:30 a.m.), "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron" (Dec. 23, 10 a.m.) and "Spongebob Squarepants" (Dec. 25, 9 a.m.) invade Yey.
