MANILA – In a rare opportunity, Angel Locsin and Liza Soberano were spotted hanging out backstage during the Just Love Christmas Special at the Araneta Coliseum Tuesday night.

Although it is uncertain as to what they were talking about, photos of the two, which are now making the rounds online, show them engrossed in conversation.

Many netizens said it is refreshing to see the two Darna actresses casually talking to each other. Some even speculated that Locsin is probably giving Soberano some tips on playing the Filipina superhero.

In a previous interview, Locsin said she has no regrets in passing the baton, even saying that she wants to help the new actress effectively portray the character.

Locsin was supposed to play Darna in the upcoming movie adaptation before a back injury forced her to back out.
