BULACAN — ABS-CBN on Wednesday inaugurated here its Horizon IT Park sound stages which put the media giant’s film and TV production at par with Hollywood standards, in terms of facilities, equipment, and cost-efficiency.

Sitting on a 7.7-hectare property in San Jose del Monte, the production hub finally opened its doors for the first time to give a glimpse of its first two world-class sound stages — the EL3 stage, named after ABS-CBN chairman emeritus Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III, who spearheaded the project, and Stage 2.

The Horizon stages are ready for use, and will host as early as the second quarter of 2019 two Kapamilya offerings for the small and big screen — respectively, “The Faithful Wife” with Angelica Panganiban, and “Darna” starring Liza Soberano.
