A behind-the-scenes look at the movie was released Thursday by Dreamscape, one of the producers of the movie alongside iWant, Quantum Films, Black Sheep, and Globe Studios.

"Whether the Weather is Fine" will be directed by Carlo Francisco Manatad, whose short film, "Jodilerks Dela Cruz, Employee of the Month," competed in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2017.

Manatad was born in Tacloban, one of the hardest-hit areas by Yolanda back in 2013.

The film will also star newbie actress Francinne Rifol, also known as Rans from all-Pinay girl group MNL48.
