MANILA — (UPDATED) After a year-long engagement, celebrity couple Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla finally tied the knot on Tuesday, as seen in social media updates from guests and family members.

Padilla, 25, was a stunning vision in her off-shoulder wedding gown as she walked down the aisle, which was lined with candles and red roses.

Abrenica, 28, looked dapper in a beige suit, as he stood at the altar beside his brother, fellow actor Vin, as well as the bride’s father, screen veteran Robin Padilla.

Abrenica and Padilla announced their engagement in January 2017. They welcomed their first child together, Alas, seven months later in August.

Their relationship was for a time marred by the strained ties between Abrenica and Kylie’s father Robin, but the two reconciled early this year. Since then, the action star has been vocal of his approval of the would-be marriage.
