When it comes to business, celebrity couple Neri Naig and Chito Miranda prefer to keep their endeavors, goals, as well as the fruits of their labor, separate.

This was revealed by the Parokya ni Edgar frontman in response to a fan who questioned Naig’s use of singular possessive pronouns — “ko,” “akin,” — when referring to her business pursuits.

“Hiwalay na po ba kayo ni Chito?” the follower commented on Naig’s Instagram post about the progress of a rest house and events place she owns that are currently in construction. “Sorry for asking, kasi parang you’re only pertaining to yourself, your own savings.”

Noticing the comment, Miranda responded, with laughing emojis: “Grabe naman! Hiwalay agad? Mga netizens talaga, o! Ang ku-cute!”

He went on to explain the dynamics of their marriage, specifically concerning their respective business-related finances. Miranda most recently opened a laundromat-café, while Naig has said her income from her bake shop and home-made food products has paved the way for the construction of her events place. The former actress also sells babies' clothes online.

“Siyempre bilang mag-asawa, hati kami sa lahat,” Miranda said.

Despite their separate business efforts, Miranda and Naig have notably been vocal of supporting each other on social media. They also frequently mention their son, Miggy, as the reason they’re actively securing a financially stable future.

“Naniniwala rin kami na maganda ‘yung may sarili siyang pera at ipon at business,” Miranda added in his response to Naig’s follower.

It’s not complicated at all.”
