MANILA — “Eerie,” the horror-thriller starring Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo, made its world premiere on Monday in Singapore.
The Mikhail Red film is participating in this year’s Singapore International Film Festival, where the Philippines was chosen as the “Country of Focus.”
The premiere screening of “Eerie,” which took place at the Capitol Theater, saw Alonzo, Santos-Concio, co-star Jake Cuenca, as well as Red walking the red carpet.
According to the filmmaker behind “Birdshot,” Singapore is the first of many stops of “Eerie” on the international film festival circuit.
“Eerie,” a Star Cinema co-production, is set in the 1990s and centers on a clairvoyant counselor (Alonzo) who investigates a murder at a Catholic school. — Report from MJ Felipe, ABS-CBN News
