MANILA - Actor Bobby Andrews, who is now known to play contrabida roles, turned 33 years old today.
Before his career in show business, Andrews, or Robert Riv Andrews in real life, was a popular model. His break came when he was teamed up with actress Angelu de Leon in 1995 teen-oriented show "T.G.I.S." and sequel "Growing Up."
In 1998, Andrews career almost came to an end when his on-screen partner, de Leon, got pregnant.
From then on, he went solo and landed different roles in television.
He also appeared in several movies including "For the First Time," "Volta," "Lastikman," and "Sumigaw Ka Hanggang Gusto Mo."
