“You’ll Be Safe Here” by Rivermaya was ubiquitous for music fans and Kapamilya viewers in the mid 2000s, as it became a big hit on radio, and was frequently played on television as the theme song of ABS-CBN’s “Spirits.”

Now it’s making a return on radio and digital, with a fresh take by breakout band Agsunta for the reboot of the popular TV series.

“Spirits Reawaken,” directed by Topel Lee, is one of the ongoing original offerings of ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant, and updates the Chito Roño source material for the modern audience.

It follows a group of students who discover they have extraordinary powers. In the face of danger from supernatural elements, they also find their purpose.
