MANILA — ABS-CBN on Tuesday introduced to trade partners its slate of new TV and digital shows, as well as film offerings, for the first quarter of 2019.

Dubbed “Family is Love” after the media giant’s Christmas station ID, the trade event announced or teased a total of 21 projects set for release next year.

The titles were divided into categories: reality and variety, digital (iWant), movies, and teleserye. Here’s a look at each of them, including the details known so far:

WORLD OF DANCE PHILIPPINES

To be hosted by Pia Wurtzbach and Luis Manzano, the dance competition will be judged by Billy Crawford, Maja Salvador, and Gary Valenciano. Participants are aged 8 years old and above. The grand winner will have a chance to compete in the US version of the format. Twitter: @mjfelipe

MINUTE TO WIN IT: LAST MAN STANDING

The hit game show will return with all-new challenges, to be hosted still by Luis Manzano. ABS-CBN

SEARCH FOR THE IDOL PHILIPPINES

ABS-CBN’s version of the international format for aspiring singers will see “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez as one of its judges. The nationwide auditions have already kicked off. Judges who will join Velasquez will be announced soon. ABS-CBN

9 iWANT ORIGINALS

ABS-CBN’s streaming platform iWant is set to roll out more original offerings ranging different genres, including “High,” “Project Feb 14,” “Story of My Life,” “The End,” “Commuters,” “Touch Screen,” “Find the Wasabi,” “Jhon en Martian,” “Everybody Loves Baby Wendy.” ABS-CBN

EERIE

THE GENERAL’S DAUGHTER

Starring Angel Locsin as the titular character, the action-drama series is billed as ABS-CBN’s biggest TV production in 2019. Joining her in the cast are Albert Martinez, Tirso Cruz III, Janice de Belen, Eula Valdez, Maricel Soriano, Paulo Avelino, JC de Vera, Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte.
