MANILA, Philippines — Defending champion Sam Mangubat is not done just yet.

The Batangas native extended his winning streak on "Tawag ng Tanghalan" to seven with his cover of The Script's "Breakeven," two days after bagging an automatic spot in the semifinals.

Mangubat received an average score of 93.6 percent from the judges to defeat Saturday's challenger Eva Bataluna, who got 88.2 percent for her performance of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."

Mangubat looks to continue his unbeaten run on Monday when he returns to the "It's Showtime" stage and to add to his winnings of more than P185,000.
